Crypto address lookup: balance, activity and ransomware reports

Enter a crypto address and DuckINT recognizes its blockchain from the format, then reads its balance and activity from public block explorers. It also checks whether the address was reported in ransomware payments, and for Ethereum-style addresses, whether the same address is used on other EVM networks.

Free account needed: sign in or create one in a few seconds, and the search runs right after.

What it shows

  • Balance, number of transactions and first and last activity dates.
  • The blockchain, recognized from the address format: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Litecoin, Dogecoin and more.
  • Ransomware reports: whether the address received known ransom payments.
  • For Ethereum-style addresses, activity of the same address on other EVM networks.

Sources it checks

One search asks all of these at the same time. Each result names the one that returned it.

  • Blockchair
  • BlockCypher
  • Blockscout
  • Blockstream Esplora
  • Etherscan
  • Public EVM RPCs
  • Ransomwhere
  • Solana public RPC
  • TronGrid

What to do with the result

  1. Check the reports before sending money to an address someone gave you.
  2. Remember that an address is not a name: exchanges and services share addresses among many users.
  3. Report scam addresses to the exchange or platform involved, and to the police for a loss.
